SMM11, 8 May: it is reported that Keras Resources Co., Ltd. confirmed on Tuesday that it has started production in the first quarter of 2020 at the (Keras Resources) (Nayega) Manganese Mine project in northern Togo, which is located in northern Togo.

The supporting documents relating to the exploration license are held by (SGM), a holding subsidiary of Keras, and will be completed by the end of the year. Following a meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Togo last month, the document was updated and a decree was adopted and a decree was issued granting SGM licences for large-scale mining of the Nayega manganese mine.

The initial operation will be based on the transport of ore to smelter end-users; however, Keras believes that as a second stage of development, the production of manganese sulfate for the fertilizer and battery markets has great value-added potential. Keras appointed Simulus engineers based in Perth to conduct a scoping study to study the potential to develop such refineries for the Nayega project.

Russell Laming (Russell Lamming), chief executive of Keras, said on Tuesday that the company had demonstrated that the project's strategy had been validated by fully funded 10000 tonnes of bulk samples, adding that the miner could transition from prospector to producer without investing any more money.

Starting in the first quarter of 2020, Keras's installed capacity will begin to produce 38 per cent of selected manganese ore at a rate of 6000 tons per month. Based on the financing situation, steady-state production is expected to be 17200 tons per month in the second quarter of this year.

"at the same time, we will implement the first phase of the expansion plan by installing a new 70-ton / hour scrubber plant in parallel with our existing 25-ton / hour plant," Lamming said. " This gives Keras the flexibility to use existing plants as short-term production plants and as sampling plants when it begins to assess the feasibility of producing battery-grade manganese.

The company is currently in discussions with a variety of buyers to finance the expansion plan. In addition, in parallel with the expected start of full production in Nayega in 2020 (the current mine life is 15 years) and the resulting determined cash flow, Keras is allocating its 33.8 per cent interest in the ASX listing and the gold market, generating a gain of approximately £9.9 million. After the distribution, shareholders will be in direct contact with companies focused on cash production, Lamming said.

A grand event for thousands of people in China's non-ferrous metal industry

Shanghai colored net (SMM) annual meeting is the annual event of the metal industry, with an annual participation scale of thousands of people, domestic and foreign metal industry people gathered together to review and summarize the experience and harvest of the year, and lay the groundwork for the production, operation and operation of the coming year.

This year's "2019 China Nonferrous Metals Industry Annual meeting and 2020 (SMM) Metal Price Forecast Conference" was jointly created by SMM and China Renewable Resources Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance and Shanghai Nonferrous Metals Industry Association. At the same time, the first "China Renewable Metals Industry chain Development Summit Forum" was held, and SMM metal price forecasting conference and waste battery recycling exchange were set up for you to enjoy. From the development of non-ferrous metal market to the recycling of renewable resources, from the detailed explanation of policies and systems to the research and development of industrial chain technology.

This is not only a meeting, but also an industry exchange of information, collision thinking sparks of brainstorming!
